Through AERsmart, AERtronic and Webview control and monitoring components, Aerzen delivers an intelligent communication system that synchronizes and optimizes processes for maximum efficiency and availability. AERtronic control system helps control compressed air processes with all common interfaces such as MODBUS RTU (standard), PROFIBUS DP, MODBUS Gateway between RTU and MODBUS TCP (Ethernet) and PROFINET. Through an intuitive touchscreen navigation, the operating data are archived, logged and deliver reliable evaluation.


An intelligent building block for industry 4.0 applications


This system enables predictive maintenance based on operating hours. For more energy efficiency, the control can be set up depending on the system pressure. According to consumption and demand, the compressors can be switched on and off for energy savings (up to 30%). Further savings can be achieved by optimizing running times of the compressors and maintenance intervals. AERsmart, the most intelligent component in the communication system, allows to efficiently distribute the required oxygen demand in the wastewater tank to the machine park. Last, the Webview module can be used to retrieve all process data via a remote device.
