The AIR Series product line from Autec is the newest in the family. Controllers come in 4, 6, or 8 dual speed pushbutton versions. They offer safety by complying with EN ISO 13849-1, increased comfort with an advanced ergonomic design, a redesigned receiver unit eliminating the need for terminal lugs or screws, and ease of use for the operator. In addition, the controllers are 100% customizable to meet specific application requirements as well as many programmable options available for the end user. Much technological advancement has been made and incorporated into the control systems. The pairing process (enabling to establish a unique link between a transmitter and a receiver) is achieved by a simple but protected programming procedure through the transmitter. If preventive measures need to be taken in order to prevent unauthorized use of the control system, the system can be programmed with a PIN code. A dual band communication system allows the controllers to operate at approved frequencies for several markets around the globe. The products identify free frequencies at the start up of the control system. Installations with multiple radio remote controls can be installed worry free with the 256 available channels. A rechargeable Lithium-ion battery allows longer operation (40 hours), no memory affect, and no aging. Many applications available in today's market require feedback to be displayed at the hands of the operator. With the controller, four data feedback LEDs are present on the top of the transmitter unit where machine data can be displayed. These LEDs can also be programmed to be used as feedback showing the status of the transmitter: which function is ON (e.g. when a SHIFT or a multifunction pushbutton is integrated) and even battery charge. Radio frequency communication parameters can be programmed to improve reliability and safety in use. Programmable output logics. High robustness and wide working temperature range (IP65, operating temperature -20°C to +55°C).
