The compact Sinamics DC Master from the Siemens Drive Technologies Division, integrates open-loop control, closed-loop control and power unit in a single device. This converter for DC applications enables functions and tools such as SIZER and STARTER to be used. The rated direct current of the devices ranges from 15 to 3,000 A. This range can be extended by connecting the DC converters in parallel. The advanced operator panel AOP30 and the numerical basic operator panel BOP20 are used for commissioning and operation. The Profibus and Profinet interfaces and analog and digital interfaces enable the Sinamics DC Master to be integrated in existing and new automation solutions. The devices can be supplied for two-quadrant or four-quadrant operation.
