Digital Input Modules

The IP67 digital, decentralized input module PDP67 F 8DI ION from Pilz, enables the safe connection of a higher number of contact-based or electronic sensors, even outside the control cabinet. This connection can be established in accordance with PL e of EN ISO 13849-1 and SIL 3 of EN/IEC 62061. As a result, decentralized monitoring of all sensors in the field can be connected to the configurable control system PNOZmulti. Up to 64 safe sensors can be monitored decentrally. Hardware costs are reduced because this solution works without a local control cabinet and uses only a single cable for communication and supply.
