Three different Atlas Copco vacuum pumps, DZS, DHS and the LRP VSD+, have been tested and certified since October 2018. According to the results, they meet the strictest quality requirements and have been classified by TÜV Rheinland as completely oil-free in the best "Class 0", a certification of environmental friendliness.
No traces of aereosol oil detected
TÜV Rheinland carried out the measurements without an oil removal device placed at the outlet between the pumps and measurement membrane. No traces of aerosol oil (Concentration below 0.01 mg/m³) were detected in the exhaust air flow, and, as a result, the vacuum pumps were certified to be harmless to the quality of the ambient air.
Areas of applications
The areas of application of the oil-free vacuum pumps from Atlas Copco are many: food processing and packaging processes, the production of semiconductors or medicines, and the paper industry. It’s ideal for all those sectors where even small traces of oil can damage products and people health.
