The FiberExpress Brilliance Field-Installable Connectors from Belden enable fiber termination in literally 5 seconds, without requiring termination tools. Each connector can be re-terminated up to 5 times. Via an external laser light-source the connectorization can be verified on-site. The fiber splicing and crimping action is done in a simple motion thanks to the built-in activator tab. These connectors are available for 900 μm LC and can also be used for loose tube fiber installations with the addition of a break-out kit. These connectors withstand temperatures ranging from -400 to +750 °C.
