Belden introduces an upgraded version of BAT450-F, industrial Wireless LAN access points from Hirschmann, that includes a 110 V DC power supply. The direct use of this power supply and easy retrofitting increase the efficiency and resiliency of railway networks.

Access points that improve connectivity and lower operating costs

BAT450-F offers several advantages. It can improve connectivity and roaming performance for faster signaling and streaming among train-to-ground communication. It simplifies passenger WiFi retrofitting with an all-in-one offering of WLAN, LTE and 110 V DC capabilities. Further, it lowers operating costs by removing the need for a 24 V DC power converter.

Customizable access points

BAT450-F 110 V DC access points presented by Belden are industrially hardened, yet compact, and can be customized to support a variety of wireless and wired connections. This design makes these access points ideal solutions for industrial engineers across a variety of sectors, especially the railway industry.
