Hiwin's TM-5 Torque motors combine high torque density, dynamics and positioning accuracy in a compact design, offering machine manufacturers new possibilities for rotary tables, swivel units and other rotary axes. The integrated cooling channels enable efficient liquid cooling and support the use of the TM-5 even under high performance requirements.
The integrated cooling channels regulate the heat development significantly and thus ensure stable operating conditions and consistent processing results. Thanks to the minimal holding torque, the Torque motor runs particularly smooth, a clear advantage for precise movement sequences and reproducible positioning accuracy.
Reduced maintenance requirements
The high mechanical compatibility and the well-thought-out design allow for use in almost any machine concept, whether for modernisation or new construction. The elimination of mechanical transmission elements means users benefit from high efficiency, reduced maintenance and maximum precision. Currently, the range comprises 70 variants with peak torques between 45 and 7,200 Nm, with continuous torques of 25 to 3,400 Nm. The motors are available in seven sizes with outer diameters between 160 and 565 mm.
