Siemens extends its range of solar inverters for commercial photovoltaic plants for the power range up to 500 kilowatts with the modified Sinvert PVM17 solar inverter with improved efficiency and extended maximum power point range. Using the new Sinvert PVM Control Box, the system output can be limited by remote control during peak periods, avoiding a grid overload. Operators of photovoltaic plants now have a choice of four power classes of 10, 13, 17 and 20 kilowatts for the compact Sinvert PVM inverters. These solar inverters achieve a new peak efficiency level of 98.2% and a weighted efficiency of 97.8% according to eta EU.
