Schaffner’s FN 6840 LCL filter has been specifically designed for Active Front End (AFE) Motor Drives and Active Infeed Converter (AIC) applications. As a mandatory interface between grid and AFE or AIC-systems, it helps improve the power quality on the grid side, while simultaneously reducing ripple currents and voltage distortions. Moreover, it attenuates effectively the switching  frequency of the converter to the grid/line side. 

Compact design 

With a nominal operating voltage of 3 x 380…480 VAC, the FN 6840 is compactly designed and contains all necessary LCL components in one package. 
It can operate in a temperature range between -25°C and +50°C and it is characterized by an insulation class EIS 200
Installation and connection are easy and intuitive.
