Mitsubishi Electric and Schaeffler, two leading companies that develop and supply Industry 4.0 solutions, have strengthened their collaboration. The outcome of this solidified partnership is a new web-based condition monitoring solution, whose availability is scheduled to launch in 2020. It will contribute to the expansion of the existing portfolio of Smart Condition Monitoring (SCM) solutions.
The predictive maintenance solution will be available as a “software as a service” (SaaS) product.

Efficiency for industrial applications 

As the software is web-based and can run on existing hardware on different devices such as PCs, tablets and smartphones, clients will not need to acquire new IT equipment. 
The applications foreseen for the Mitsubishi-Schaeffler web-based predictive maintenance solution will be prevalently in the field of water and wastewater treatment as well as in the food and beverage industry where continuous processes need to be monitored at all times.
