The motor-driven RS series from Misumi Europa are ready-to-install linear units that consist of a ball-type linear drive combined with a motor and guides on both sides. The rigid RS units enable automatic positioning with high accuracy. The smaller RS model with stepper motor has a horizontal load of up to 12 kg and a vertical load of up to 4 kg, achieving strokes of 50–800 mm in 50-mm steps. The maximum speed is approx. 1000 mm per second. The larger RSH version, with AC servo motor for strokes of 150–1050 mm in 50-mm steps is designed for loads up to 80 kg horizontal and up to 16 kg vertical. The maximum speed is approx. 1800 mm per second.
