Misumi Europe offers an online software tool to calculate the product life of linear units. After selecting the appropriate series of linear units, the users can choose the required unit from the drop-down menus, enter the base length and number of carriages, and specify the assembly requirements. The second step involves entering the service conditions with details such as maximum allowable stroke, the maximum speed and acceleration/deceleration time. The user then receives a summary with the assessment results and a PDF report available to download. In the event of any discrepancies, a corresponding message appears immediately on every processing screen, so that entries can be changed or corrected accordingly at any time.
