Siemens Industry Automation Division's SIRIUS 3SF1324 safety position switch fulfills the ASIsafe standard and complies to the safety category SIL 2 / PL d. This safety position switch sends a magnet checkback signal to the operator who no longer has to open each time the protective doors after a magnet release in order to set the machinery or the plant to a safe state. This tumbler equipped position switch is available in 3 versions: with auxiliary release at the front, with escape release at the front as well as with both auxiliary release at the front and escape release at the rear. It allows protective doors to be controlled as a group.
