The new FL Switch SMCS 6TX/2SFP from Phoenix Contact has six 100 Mbit/s copper ports and two gigabit glass-fiber interfaces for SFP modules, which ensures the flexible use of various SFP fiber plug-in modules, such as the
SX, LX, and Longhaul. With its eight Fast Ethernet ports, the FL Switch SMCS 8TX is well-suited for distributed use in the Fast Ethernet environment. Smart Managed Switches can be used in both Profinet and EtherNet/IP networks. The Smart Managed Switches support the Media Redundancy Protocol (MRP) according to IEC 62439, which guarantees switchover times of less than 200 ms.
