Sturdy Multi-Touch Panel PC

Phoenix Contact has added several new DL PPC 1000 series Panel PCs to its Industrial PC product range. The sturdy IP 65-compliant devices offer high-resolution LED technology that supports complex user interfaces. Users can switch between single- or multi-touch display to suit the application at hand. This also accommodates future machine operating modes such as gesture control. The slim 60-mm Panel PCs are protected by a robust diecast aluminum housing and resist dust and water according to protection class IP 65. Further, these devices can be used in extreme temperatures ranging from -20 °C up to +55 °C, which also makes them suitable for refrigeration systems. The Industrial PCs are energy-efficient thanks to the built-in Intel Atom E series, a combination of a highly integrated chipset and a power-saving processor. This processor series' low power consumption is also reflected in the low heat it generates, which means that the units do not require built-in ventilation. An integrated VESA 100 bracket and a rear panel service hatch furthermore provide quick installation and servicing.
