The Ensenso X 3D camera system takes an entirely different approach to stereo vision. Projection module and cameras are separate devices giving you endless flexibility to configure the stereo camera precisely for your application demands. It comprises of a powerful 100 W pattern projector unit with an integrated GigE switch on which two 1.3 megapixel cameras can be mounted at different distances, with different viewing angles and various lens options. This facilitates working distances from 0.5 meters to 5 meters and allows you to capture large objects with volumes of several cubic metres also. The range of applications includes anything from bin picking, robot vision, to warehouse and logistics automation.

The Ensenso X36 models also feature the new FlexView2 technique, bringing you an even better spatial resolution as well as a very high robustness of the system for dark, shiny or reflecting surfaces while decreasing necessary computation power for image combination. The projection module integrates a GigE switch to plug the cameras to the projector and still connect the system with a single GigE cable to a host system.

Like all models of the Ensenso camera series, the Ensenso X is easy to set up and operates using the included Software Development Kit, containing features like a setup wizard for quickly focusing and calibrating the 3D cameras, a hand-eye-calibration for robots.
