Since Friday August 16, 2013, the Munich-based sensor and measuring system expert MEL Mikroelektronik has been part of wenglor sensoric GmbH based in Tettnang, Germany. With around 40 employees, the company brings more than 25 years of experience and know how in the field of optical laser measurement technology and will be able to use their potential to the full through wenglor's global sales network. For wenglor, the acquisition means a strategic expansion of the product portfolio and another additionof new technologies.
