The following products from Master Bond have recently passed ASTM E595 testing for NASA low outgassing by an independent laboratory.

EP65HT: Easy Handling, Rapid Curing Epoxy Adhesive

Ideal for prototyping and manufacturing, EP65HT sets up in just 9-12 minutes at room temperature in 10-20 gram masses. This product allows enough time to adjust part positioning for applications that require more complex fixturing. This two part epoxy has a ten to one mix ratio by weight, but its handling is facilitated by a dispensing gun capable of mixing fast setting materials. This two part epoxy system offers good physical properties, including low shrinkage upon cure, superior dimensional stability, high tensile modulus and superb tensile strength. Its service temperature range operating is -60°F to +400°F [-51°C to +204°C].

EP46HT-1AO: Thermally Conductive Epoxy Has Glass Transition Temperature of 215°C

With exceptional thermal conductivity and electrical insulation properties, EP46HT-1AO is a two component epoxy for high performance bonding and sealing applications. This high temperature resistant system has a glass transition temperature exceeding 215°C. It cures readily with heat and offers a long open time at room temperatures. EP46HT-1AO provides noteworthy dimensional stability, chemical resistance and superior physical strength properties. It also withstands 1,000 hours at 85°C/85% RH.

EP17HTND-2: Chemical Resistant, Non-Drip Epoxy Resists Temperatures Up To 650°F

EP17HTND-2 is an easy to handle one component epoxy for bonding sealing and coating applications. It has a noteworthy resistance to many chemicals including acids, bases, salts, fuels, oils and many solvents, even at elevated temperatures. This epoxy system features excellent physical properties and a superb electrical insulation profile even at elevated temperatures. EP17HTND-2 is also distinctive in that it has very low exotherm upon curing. Its service temperature range is from -80°F to +650°F [-62°C to +343°C].

EP36AO: Flexible Epoxy for Potting and Encapsulation Applications

B-staged epoxy, EP36AO, features outstanding thermal shock resistance and thermal conductivity over the wide temperature range of -100°F to +500°F [-73.3°C to +260°C]. It is available for use in 30 gram preforms. EP36AO has excellent adhesion to both metallic and non-metallic substrates, plus a high degree of chemical resistance. It also offers exceptional electrical insulation properties.

UV16: UV Curable System Has Superior Physical Strength and Low Shrinkage

UV16 is a one component, high strength, low viscosity UV curable epoxy resin based polymer system for bonding, sealing and coating. It exhibits a desirably fast cure rate at ambient temperature upon exposure to UV light even in the presence of air. This system is also tough, strong and durable. It has excellent bond strength to a wide variety of substrates including plastics, glass, ceramics and most metals. UV16 has a service operating temperature of -80°F to 400°F [-62°C to +204°C]. This cationic curing system has a Tg of 135-140°C after post curing and exhibits outstanding optical clarity.
