Application Optimised Zoom Lenses
If you are looking for a high-performance zoom lens perfectly matched to your application then look no further. Over the last 25 years – Resolve Optics has built a reputation for designing and supplying compact, high performance zoom lenses adapted to perfectly match even challenging applications. These lenses can be supplied either motorised or non-motorised in both small and larger OEM quantities.
Here are a selection of application optimised zoom lens designs for:
Areas subject to radiation
The Model 357 radiation resistant zoom lens is available in a motorised format for use with radiation tolerant cameras. Combining remote control of lens functions with provision of true high definition (HD) quality images, over a 10x zoom range, the motorised Model 357 lens sets a new standard for safe, high quality nuclear inspection.

Operating at Infrared wavelengths
Resolve Optics is a leading designer and supplier of fixed focus and zoom lenses that operate in the infrared (IR) region (1-14 microns). To realise the full potential of recent developments in IR camera, sensor and instrument technology, the need for very high performance, high-resolution or large format IR lenses and lens systems that meet the exact needs of that device is often critical.

Operating in the UV waveband
Working with specialist UV camera manufacturer – Resolve Optics developed a novel UV zoom lens that enabled remote viewing of a nuclear fuel assembly through 10-metres of water. To meet the challenges of this difficult application, the UV zoom lens was designed to optimally operate from 10°C to 55°C (50°F to 131°F).
