The electric toothed belt axis ELGG from Festo features two slides synchronised by a single toothed belt and powered by a single motor. The axis is quick and cost-effective to install and operate. The belt axis can handle several tasks in one step thanks to a well thought-out design featuring a single toothed belt that drives two bi-parting slides. This intelligent synchronisation means that the electric toothed belt axis needs only one motor to power it. The optional centre support ensures extra torsional stiffness and enables the drive to execute especially long strokes with ease.
