The tight TKA cable carriers from TSUBAKI KABELSCHLEPP protect cables against dirt, chips and spray water. They are now available in 360 variants: the newest additions to the TKA55 family are versions with inner widths of 200, 225 and 250 mm. With the new versions, the TKA55 is now available with inner widths from 50 to 250 mm. The closed cable carriers were developed especially for use in harsh surroundings with chips or dirt and effectively prevent foreign bodies from entering the cable space. This high level of protection for the installed cables into the connection area was tested and confirmed in line with IP54 by TÜV NORD.
All TKA types are optionally also available in extremely heat-resistant versions: a special material reliably protects the cables against negative effects, e.g. from chips with temperatures up to 850 °C. Typical areas of application are therefore the metal and wood processing industry, for example in machine tools or milling machines. The design of the sidebands and of the cover system additionally protects the cables against spray water from any angle and against the ingress of dust. Essential product properties are the optimized geometric shape of the chain links and a triple encapsulated stroke system which allows extensive unsupported lengths while also being highly torsion-resistant. The integrated sliding surfaces make the cable carrier ideal for long travel lengths. The covers can be opened inside or outside alternatively and provide a secure hold even with heavy mechanical loads, for example when using hydraulic lines. An internal damping system ensures noise and vibration damping.
