It is often difficult to output larger energy quantities, which are created by virtually all electronic components and are connected in the casing interior, into the environment. For this application, Fischer Elektronik is offering its customers a newly developed machine series effective immediately, which is unique to its modern design with practical and functional properties. The new, uniquely open, U-shaped case profiles have integrated guide grooves to receive electronic components or circuit boards as well as insertable heatsinks, which guarantees the function of heat conduction into the environment. The heatsink is attached by front and back covers which are screwed in with the casing profile. The housing series FR K is available by default in two different sizes, seven lengths (50, 80, 100, 120, 160, 200, 220 mm), and in two surface designs (natural colour - and black anodised). The basic case, the heatsink and the cover panels can be mechanically processed, surface-treated and processed by customer request. In addition to the standard colour (similar to RAL 1007), the plastic covers are also available in many other RAL colours. The casing is supplied as a disassembled modular set including cover panels and assembly material.
