Ofter-requested Tape and Reel Packaging

Fischer Elektronik is offering more and more of its existing connector types in the "tape & reel" format. Newly developed SMD connectors are now available in packaging suitable for direct use in automated placement equipment. Thanks to our newly acquired machine, packaging of components on tape has been carried out in-house for six months now. This has saved a high amount of time, as it eliminates the need to ship the parts to tape and reel services. And the concomitant improvement to inline production saves even more time. Practical combinations of several pin layouts are consolidated on one tape for individual series. This way, the multiplicity of different tapes can be kept within reasonable limits, thus ensuring economic packaging. The company also develops and produces customised tape and reel packaging solutions.
