1,600 exhibitors, 150,000 visitors, representing over 100 countries, more than 120,000 square meters net of exhibition surface: these are the figures expected and illustrated by Pier Luigi Streparava, General Commissioner of EMO MILANO 2015, during a recent presentation also attended by Luigi Galdabini, President of UCIMU-SISTEMI PER PRODURRE, the Association of machine tool, robot and automation manufacturers that is organizing the event, Andrea Meloni, General Manager for the promotion of the country system, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Roberto Luongo, General Manager of ICE (Italian Institute for Foreign Trade) and, finally, Giorgio Squinzi, President of CONFINDUSTRIA (Italian Industrial Federation).

Alternately hosted by Italy and Germany, EMO is the main exhibition for the international operators of the manufacturing industry, who will meet in Milan next autumn, coming from all over the world for a six-day, full-immersion event among the novelties proposed by the major worldwide players. In the halls of fieramilano Rho-Pero the largest factory in the world will be set up. There will be a wide range of products on display: machine tools, robots, automation, additive manufacturing, mechatronic solutions and auxiliary technologies.

To date, over 110,000 square meters net of exhibition surface have already been booked; if the trend of applications to exhibit at EMO remains on the levels registered up to now, the event, for which the whole exhibition fairground fieramilano Rho-Pero has been reserved, may exceed 120,000 square meters. More than 1,300 companies have already sent their applications to exhibit at EMO MILANO 2015. On top of the ranking are the Italians, closely followed by the Germans; the Taiwanese rank third with regard to the number of participations, followed by the Chinese and the Swiss.
