The Flir GF306 gas detection camera from Flir Systems employs a cooled Long Wave (LW) Infrared detector for greater sensitivity enabling it to scan large areas rapidly, pinpoint leaks in real time and provide verification of processes. It is good for monitoring applications that are difficult to reach with contact measurements tools and literally thousands of potential leak sites can be scanned per shift without the need to interrupt the process. As a non-contact measurement device, the camera is safe allowing potentially dangerous leaks to be monitored from several metres away. Able to visualise a wide range of gases in including ethylene, propylene, acetic acid, ammonia, SF6 and other VOCs that cannot be seen with the naked eye, the GF306 gas detection camera has proven itself in the electrical utility, petrochemical, chemical and refrigerant industries.
