A member of Lumberg's Micromodul series, the direct mating 302299 insulation displacement technology (IDT) connector offers a 1.27mm pitch. With 2-20 poles and pre-nickeled and tinned contact springs as well as closed sides, it offers a space and cost saving connection between flat cables and PCBs. Apart from flat cables, individual conductors with 0.09 to 0.14 mm2 cross-section (AWG 28) are supported. Operating temperature range is from -40 to 120 °C. The connectors are rated at up to 50VAC (42VDC) and carry signals as well as load currents up to 1.2A. They are suitable for automotive, consumer, industrial, medical and communications applications. Options include gold-plated contacts.
