The DSX1000 industrial digital microscope by Olympus enables macro-to-micro observation and precise measurements. It offers speed and versatility to electronics, metal and automotive applications. With six different observation modes, a rotation from head to stage, it provides material analyses and high-precision measurements over a 20–7000x magnification range. Furthermore, for precise observation, it features all shapes and sizes and the availability of 15 objective lenses. Those provide magnification, resolutions and working distances. 

Magnification range from 20x to 7000x (from macro to microstructure)

The long working distance objectives provide a 3D samples observation, such as electronic boards and machine components. Moreover, the headpiece and stage can rotate 90° in both directions (thin sample inspection). Six observation modes (brightfield, darkfield, MIX, polarizing, oblique, differential interference contrast) can be instantly switched between the modes. Finally, the DSX1000 uses a telecentric optical system with low distortion throughout the magnification range, to gain high-precision measurement with accuracy and repeatability.
