The EL112 HMI features a compact design, operates without a hard disk or fan and consumes little power. The Xscale CPU has sufficient power reserves for extensive visualisation applications and can also be combined with a soft PLC. The integrated interfaces (CAN, USB, Ethernet, RS232) allow the HMIs to be easily incorporated in the machine architecture and higher-level company network. A push card slot is integrated in the housing to accommodate SD memory cards which can be used to store the application program and data.
