di-soric Series 20 light barriers are fit for applications with cramped installation space. The integrated potentiometer-adjustable electronic analysis circuitry and the compact design eliminate the use of optical fibre technology, which tends to be error-prone in some applications. Widely differing functional principles, such as light scanners, collimated light sensors, fix focus light sensors, reflex light barriers and single-path light barriers provide a good selection of pulsed red light variants for many different application requirements. The laser light devices, which are the smallest in their class, include laser light sensors with point or line imaging, laser reflection light barriers and laser single-path light barriers with different operating ranges. The technical data for the devices reach the performance data of much larger light barrier series. The devices feature a very lightweight plastic housing, which enables mounting on movable machine parts. The mounting holes in the devices are designed with an integrated metal sleeve for optimal holding. The extensive mounting accessories can be used both for the red light and the laser series. Cable-connected and plug-in devices with a cable extension are available. In the Series 20 laser light barriers, all of which conform to laser class 1 (DIN EN 60825-1), the light/dark switching function can be programmed by means of pin assignment.
