The new A3-P is TAM’s most powerful and advanced non-contact torque, bending, and axial load sensor. Automatic initialisation routines, built-in compensation features, comprehensive PC dashboard interface with signal processing and signal analysis features. It cannot be damaged by over torque, allows air-gap of up to 3 mm, and an on-board SD-Memory Card data logger make the A3-P a versatile, reusable mechanical force sensor for a wide range of applications.

The A3-Lite “S” for static applications is an entry level sensors system to measure bending and torque forces from any static Ferro-magnetic objects (like beams, tubes, and shaft). The A3-Lite can be used on any object size (no upper limit). The measurement results (100 samples per second) are accessible at the 0 to +5V analogue output (BNC connector).

The A3-Lite “D” for dynamic applications is fully calibrated for a +/- 250Nm Torque range and mounted onto a 25 mm diameter shaft (100 samples per second, up to 6000 rpm) and can be also used to measure bending and torque forces on other static Ferro-magnetic objects (same features as the A3-Lite “S”). The A3-LD Sensing Module can be removed from the calibrated sensor fixture.
