As MEDTEC UK closed its doors, the big news this year was the announcement that next year's event will be held in London, at Olympia on May 1-2. Event organisers, UBM Canon, are adamant that the new venue will give exhibitors and visitors a much higher return on investment. Staging the event in London is supposed to deliver more quality attendees from the leading medical device manufacturers as well as tier one and two suppliers, they say. Indeed, it will mean that 70 per cent of current MEDTEC UK visitors will be within just one hour's commute of the venue.
Plans are already underway to ensure MEDTEC UK 2013 will add more value to visitors' time. The event will be more Conference-led than ever with key presentations on leading technological advancements and next-generation thinking. In addition, UBM Canon has introduced a low-cost, all-inclusive exhibitor package, with a new approach to stand design, construction and staging.
