The latest development stage of Eisele’s MULTILINE concept is the MULTILINE E, which supplements Eisele’s modular kit system for multiple connectors to include freely exchangeable adaptive inserts for electrical and electronic connectors.
The modular kit system allows combination of electronic connections with those for compressed air, vacuum, gases, coolants and liquids in one interface. The bore holes for the standardised outer geometry of the adaptive inserts feature a slot to prevent twisting of the electro inserts and guarantee the correct polarity of the E-connectors. The E-connector line is being launched with the widely used and standardised M12 round connectors in different constructions for diverse applications.
They include A-coding, Cube6, Profibus, Ethernet, three to twelve pins and a version of the M12 power plug for power electronics up to 630 volts. The MULTILINE E series of modular multiple connectors will be expanded to include additional versions in accordance with customer requirements. The possibilities for configuration of the connection cables are also virtually unlimited.
