With the GP42 gearbox and the GP56 gearbox, Nanotec provides two high-torque planetary gearboxes in two sizes, many reductions, and a modular structure that enables fast adaptation to customer requirements. They are both offered in one- and two-stage versions with a rated torque between 1.8 and 23.5 Nm, and their maximum gear backlash is 0.95°.

Toothing, materials and hardening processes improved through simulation-based design

The GP42 is engineered for motors with NEMA 17-flange as well as for the DF45 external rotor motors from Nanotec. The GP56 can be combined with brushless DC and stepper motors in sizes NEMA 23 and 24. This gearbox is also available with a reinforced output bearing and planetary gears on needle to meet high axial and radial loads.
