A new version of ST series safety sensors with RFID technology is now available, making it possible to check the NC contacts of contactors or forced-guide relays controlled by the safe outputs of the actual sensor. Pizzato Elettrica CS ME-03 series expansion modules can be used in alternative to relays or contactors.

This version, which keeps the ST series operation and safety characteristics unaltered, having IS safe inputs, can be inserted at the end of a chain of ST sensors, up to a maximum number of 32 devices, while maintaining the maximum safety level (PLe) prescribed by the EN 13849-1 standard.
