As announced by Messe Frankfurt Italia and Mesago Messe Frankfurt during a press conference in Milan on 26 May 2009, SPS/IPC/DRIVES ITALIA will have its debut in Italy from 19 - 21 October 2010. After Germany, Italy is the second largest European market for electric components and industrial automation systems. Corresponding to the German role model which in 2008 attracted more than 48,000 visitors to Nuremberg, SPS/IPC/DRIVES ITALIA should become the industrial platform for businesses and suppliers of the industrial automation technology. The Italian users of industrial automation technology are the target market of SPS/IPC/DRIVES ITALIA, which will take place at the Fiere di Parma exhibition centre. Parma is one of the leading economic centres of Northern Italy.
