Manner has developed a high-precision torque measuring sensor for torque and power output monitoring at the power take-off shaft (PTO) in agricultural vehicles. The sensor is compact and fits directly onto the PTO. It has the degree of protection IP65 and is maintenance-free. The stator is mounted on the shaft and is secured against rotation by means of a chain. In addition to measuring torque levels up to 5kNm, the system also provides high-resolution speed monitoring using 180 pulses per revolution. The digital telemetric transmission technology guarantees 100 percent interference-free transmission of the measuring signal.
