Kübler recently launched the latest generation of Sendix absolute EtherCAT encoders that have a very short bus cycle time for EtherCAT with a position update within 62.5 μs. The short cycle time with the new absolute EtherCAT encoders allow customers to implement highly dynamic systems with EtherCAT Fieldbus technology. A wide temperature range of - 40 °C up to + 85 °C, as well as a high level of shock resistance of up to 2,500 m/s² and high vibration resistance up to 100 m/s² qualify the devices for use also in extremely harsh environments. Integrated functionalities such as speed calculation and Work Area States make the implementation of these values in the controller unnecessary. The customers thereby receive precise results and do not have to write lines of code to implement these values in the controller.
