Conrad Business Supplies has announced an expansion in the number of product lines it offers from leading enclosure systems supplier Rittal. 2,000 new parts have been added to www.conrad.biz, bringing the total to over 3,000 listed items. The portfolio now comprises the complete Rittal enclosures offering plus system solutions for power distribution, climate control technology and IT infrastructure.

The agreement includes the new SE 8 single enclosure. It is fully compatible with Rittal's TS8 top enclosure system and offers a highly cost-effective way to achieve multiple configuration possibilities. The SE 8 is suited for a variety of industrial applications such as can be found for compact machinery and equipment, building automation, power distribution units, and automation components.

Conrad's Business Supplies' drive towards offering a 'One Stop Shop' e-procurement platform allows original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) as well as maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) engineers to save cost and time when selecting and ordering products from the extensive Rittal range.

"Conrad Business Supplies is a longstanding and valued distribution partner with unrivalled engagement in our target markets," said Karl Heinz Froitzheim, Sales Director, Rittal. "We are delighted to reach this agreement whereby Conrad now offers in the region of 3,000 Rittal product lines to customers across multiple industry sectors and end applications."

"Rittal is a leading system provider and recognised for its high quality and innovative enclosures and related products," said Peter Müller, Product Manager, Category Business Supplies. "This agreement is another important step for us, helping intensify market penetration and at the same time supporting our vision to become the leading, multi-channel B2B distributor in Europe."
