Since 1971, Igus polymer e-chains constitute the umbilical cord of modern machines. They are constantly moving and supply power, data and energy. They can be used in numerous applications thanks to a multitude of possibilities in terms of movement and length. For instance, they can be used to carry sensitive bus, data cables and fiber optics cables and energy sources such as electricity, gas, air and liquids.

Can accommodate high dynamic loads and stringent service life requirements

Space-saving, high speeds and accelerations can be achieved as well. The modular system enables quick assembly and retrofit to save time. Moreover, they feature system quotes, including made-to-measure production and “turnkey” assembly. Last, e-chains come with a rapid system design and support with an ever-growing close-knit network of local sales engineers.
