ExxonMobil has launched Mobil Serv Lubricant Analysis, a new mobile-enabled used oil analysis service, in Europe, Africa and the Middle East. The innovative program is vital in helping engineers maintain a healthy and reliable operation.

When used regularly, Mobil Serv Lubricant Analysis can help:
· Enhance equipment reliability
· Reduce unscheduled downtime
· Reduce lubricant consumption
· Extend oil drain intervals, improving safety by minimising intervention with machinery

Mobil Serv Lubricant Analysis is designed to streamline the entire used oil analysis process. The service leverages scan-and-go technology with QR Codes, so customers can easily deliver used oil samples to ExxonMobil's oil analysis laboratory.

Customers can easily access results and customised equipment recommendations on mobile or tablet devices using a cloud-based app and share it with any other parties, as needed. The new service can also eliminate labels and paperwork. It facilitates real-time communication of sampling scheduling and results. The system also offers improved response time.

The new service, which replaces ExxonMobil's Signum℠ used oil analysis, is available now. Customers previously registered to Signum will have automatically migrated to the new programme, along with their analysis history.
