High-resolution Colour Sensor

The new electronic color sensor O5C500 from ifm electronic detects the color, packaging, label or imprint of objects at a high resolution. In highly automated industrial sectors the color is often used to recognize, sort or check different goods. With 5 selectable tolerance steps, this color sensor allows to differentiate fine shades of color from the background or other objects. The color to be detected is set in the unit by a simple push of a button. A high switching frequency of 2,000 Hz ensures reliable detection of different objects in industrial processes. The auto detect output stage automatically sets the switching output to PNP or NPN operation.
