At the Plastic Industry Awards, Kawasaki Robotics was awarded the Supplier Partnership – Ancillary Machinery Award for its partnership with plastic molder SynthoTec Ltd. Ian Hensman, Kawasaki Robotics Sales Manager stated, “Kawasaki Robotics is delighted to have received this Supplier Partnership award because it typifies so many of the applications we work on with our customers.”

A successful integration story

Kawasaki supplied Synthotec the RS-20N robot in standard form, whose high speed, repeatable accuracy to within +/-0.04mm across each axis, and easy interruption of its activity, perfectly fit Syntho’s requirements and boosted production, cut costs and achieve reduction of waste material in the plant. Additionally, Syntho also wanted Kawasaki Robotics to train its workforce in order to be able to install, commission and use the product without supervision.
