The PMIR7 series of non-contact incremental magnetic ring encoders from ASM is designed to operate in harsh environments. These magnetic ring encoders and are available in 3 sizes that can be press-fitted onto 27, 35 or 50 mm shaft diameters. They can generate up to 184,320 pulses per revolution with a side tracking tolerance of +/- 1 mm.  The sensor head is completely enclosed in an IP67 rated metal housing offering a high level of protection against EMC interference and thermal overload. The operating temperature range spans -40 to +85 C. The available outputs are HTL, TTL and TTL24V with a maximum output frequency of 480 kHz.
