T-slot Cylinder Sensor

The Namur T-slot cylinder sensor from ifm electronic is 1G/1D certified, meaning that it can be used in zones 0 or 20 hazardous areas, such as in pharmaceutical industries as well as in silo applications, elevators or mills. These sensors have a 6 m long cable to reach the control panel that can be placed in a safe non-hazard location. For added flexibility this connection cable can be cut to the appropriate length needed. The MK502A cylinder sensor can be inserted into the T-slot from the top for quick and easy installation. Its solidly-molded housing is secured by a stainless steel fixing that also serves as strain relief. Optional adapters allow the T-slot sensor to be fixed to all common cylinder types.
