The CMRK from Variohm EuroSensor is a two-part puck and magnet programmable angle sensor suited to position feedback tasks where compact dimensions and great durability are essential. The sensor is available for single- or dual- redundant CW or CCW angle measurement, and a programmable range from 30° to 260° in 1° increments, it outputs ratiometric or PWM signal levels from 5 VDC input. It also grants a broad degree of application flexibility for decisive angle measurement in applications such as motorsports and automotive test and development through linearity to +/- 0.5% of the programmed signal range.

Miniature and extremely durable

This sensor includes an anodized high-grade aluminum housing for better durability and the encapsulated sensor electronics ensures an IP68 environmental rating. The CMRK’s vibration specification meets IEC 60068-2-6 with a 20 g rating at 5…2000 Hz. The design is completely non-contacting with no bearings and no coupling between the sensor electronics and delivers a typical life in excess of 100 million cycles. The working temperature range is from -40°C to +125°C with short term operation to 150°C. Furthermore, the Euro-CMRK complements two other Hall Effect housed designs that feature integral bearings and shafts, and encapsulated sensor electronics for great environmental and electrical specifications.
