Traco Power launched the newly developed TSR-E, TEA, TBA and TEC series of 1 to 3 watts DC-DC converters covering 12 new product families. Focusing on a simple and effective design approach, their electrical design minimizes component and labor costs. To optimize the amount of automatization of the manufacturing process, Traco used Transformers which are wound by machine, as well as standard pinning layouts where the pins can be soldered by a robot.

Ideal for high volume IoT projects, and space and cost-critical applications

Moreover, they only used SMD components for DC-DC converters. Last, they built automated testing facilities for fully automated Burn-In Testing. The I/O isolation is of 1500VDC with optional 4000VDC. The converters operate from -40°C to +86°C without derating. Coming into industry-standard SIP-4, SIP-7 and SIP-8 packages, their available input ranges is +/-10%, 2:1 and 4:1.
