The programmable 750-882 ETHERNET MR Controller from Wago, supports redundant networks via two independent network ports. If the communication path is impaired via port 1 due to defective lines, switches or servers, the redundant communication path can be used via port 2. Each ETHERNET port has its own MAC address, which is assigned an IP address. The controller is addressed using the different IP addresses, allowing simultaneous access to both networks. In case no redundant network is required, two separate networks can be addressed as well for data exchange between two machines for instance or between a machine and a PC. This ETHERNET controller is ideal for applications that require high network and system availability.
