High Temperature Adhesive

Aremco Products developed Ceramabondtm 668, a new high temperature adhesive to bond ceramics to metals used in applications to 1371 °C. This high temperature adhesive has a torque strength of 10.6 ft-lbs, a dielectric strength of 245 volts per mil at room temperature and a coefficient of thermal expansion of 7.2 ppm/ºC. It is ideal for use with ceramics as well as non-ceramic substrates such as steel and stainless steel. This adhesive is applied with a brush, syringe or pneumatic dispenser. It dries rapidly at room temperature and cures in 2-4 hours at 200 oF and is resistant to most acids, solvents and fuels. Uncured material can be cleaned with warm water and soap.
