With a footprint of just above 1 inch2 per I/O, the ultra-compact G10 from Pepperl+Fuchs is the world’s smallest AS-Interface I/O module with IP68/69K protection. Simply placing the G10 inside the cable tray eliminates mounting entirely. Only the integrated pigtail cordsets for sensors and actuators are located outside of the cable tray. Therefore these modules do not require additional cordsets. The single piece housing makes use of a patented hinged cover. Only one screw is needed to reliably mount the G10. High-quality, machined, gold-plated piercing contacts are used providing superior long-term contact stability.
